EARLY VOTING NOTICE - State Primary and County General Election

August 1, 2024

There will be a State Primary and County General Election held in Campbell County on THURSDAY, AUGUST 1, 2024. The Campbell County Election Commission will provide two (2) polling locations for the purpose of voting early by personal appearance. The places, days, and hours are as follows.

EARLY VOTING DATES:

JULY 12, 2024 THROUGH JULY 27, 2024

 

Election Commission Office in Jacksboro

Monday-Thursday                         9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Friday                                                9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Saturday                                           9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

 

Satellite Location- Jellico Municipal Building

Monday-Thursday                         9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Friday                                                2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Saturday                                           9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

 

FEDERAL OR TENNESSEE STATE GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO IDENTIFICATION IS NOW REQUIRED TO VOTE, UNLESS AN EXCEPTION APPLIED. COLLEGE STUDENT ID’S WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THIS LAW AND EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE CALL THE CAMPBELL COUNTY ELECTION COMMISSION OFFICE 8:00AM TO 4:30PM MONDAY THRU FRIDAY OR VISIT GoVoteTN.com. THIS OFFICE IS CLOSED ON ALL STATE HOLIDAYS.

Per T.C.A § 2-3-109 (e)(1) and (2)- Disabled and elderly voters in inaccessible precincts have the right to come to the County Election Commission Office to vote, either during the period established for early voting or on election day. Such voter must submit the commission with written notice of their intention to vote at the Election Commission Office on Election Day no later than July 22, 2024. As an alternative, such voter may vote during the early voting period.

Machine Inspection will be held on July 5, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Campbell County Election Commission located at 129 Church Aly, Jacksboro, TN  37757.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER IN PERSON OR TO HAND-DELIVER VOTER REGISTRATION FORMS TO THE CAMPBELL COUNTY ELECTION COMMISSION OFFICE TO BE ELIGIBLE TO VOTE IN THE AUGUST 1, 2024 ELECTION IS: JULY 2, 2024.

                       

ABSENTEE BY MAIL DEADLINE: JULY 25, 2024 IS THE LAST DAY TO REQUEST AN APPLICTION TO VOTE ABSENTEE BY MAIL
